The quicker you’re able to deposit your paycheck into your Checking or Savings account, the better. With Direct Deposit, your paycheck will be deposited automatically, and you’ll have quicker access to your money, start earning interest immediately (when applicable), and you won’t even have to visit the credit union to depost a check anymore (OK, we’re a little sad about that one, but we understand you’re busy).

Direct Deposit is typically used for payroll checks, but it can also be used for many other types of payments, including:

• Bonuses and commissions
• Dividend and interest payments
• Pensions
• Travel expense reimbursements
• Tax refunds
• Social Security or other government payment
