Checking your credit report regularly is a key part of any financial plan. Not only does it give you insight into your creditworthiness, but also helps you detect fraudulent activity before it gets out of hand. The credit union encourages members to actively monitor your report for fraudulent activity throughout the year. Doing so can help you avoid costly identity theft which can adversely affect your credit score. To monitor your credit activity throughout the year, you can purchase additional reports.
