UMe Credit Union was founded in 1940 by a small group of Burbank teachers who believed in something powerful: that by coming together, they could create something better. That spirit still drives us today. We’ve grown a lot since then—but we’re still proudly local, fiercely member-focused, and deeply committed to helping our community thrive.

At UMe, we’re not a big bank—and we don’t want to be. We’re a not-for-profit credit union owned by the people we serve. That means U come first in everything we do. From lower fees to better rates and friendlier service, we’re here to help U make the most of your money (and actually enjoy the process).

We offer all the modern banking services you’d expect—from checking accounts and car loans to credit cards and home financing—but with a twist: we’re real people who really care. We consider ourselves helpers more than bankers, and we work hard to create a space where our members feel seen, supported, and genuinely valued.
