UMeHelps
UMeHelps is UMe Credit Union’s commitment to giving back. Through local partnerships, donation drives, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns, we proudly support charities, schools, and initiatives that uplift Burbank—and invite our members to join us in making a difference. U+Me. Together we are better, together we are UMe!
Superman... Batman... Wonder Woman... What does UMe have in common with these superheroes??
While we don’t actually have superpowers (or excessive spandex), we did create UMeHelps—a community-driven initiative that empowers our members and the Burbank community to make a meaningful impact.
Through UMeHelps, we support local organizations by hosting food and toy drives, organizing fundraising efforts, and shining a light on programs that need a little extra love from their neighbors. From creating opportunities to help families in need to rallying our community around important causes, UMeHelps embodies what it means to give back together… U+Me.

Our History
Our story began in 1940 with a group of dedicated Burbank Unified School District teachers and a single desk drawer. That’s where our credit union was born, originally chartered as Burbank Teachers Federal Credit Union. From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a community-focused credit union that’s proud to honor our roots while serving the people of Burbank with pride and care.
