U Help Raise $15K for Burbank Students, and UMe Will Match It!
Since day one (literally), Burbank schools have been a big part of what we do here at UMe. As a credit union that was founded by a group of Burbank teachers back in 1940, supporting the schools in our community is super important. And that’s why we created the UMe 15 for 15 Challenge!
Last year, UMe Members raised over $8.8K for Burbank schools. This year, we’re raising (and matching!) $15K for the Burbank Arts and Education Foundation (BAEF), an awesome local organization that helps meet the diverse educational needs of all 15K Burbank Unified School District (BUSD) students. If U give $15K, we’ll match $15K… which could add up to $30K to benefit our students and schools! A little teamwork between U + Me can go a long way!
Why 15? Allow us to explain…

- We want to impact every student in the district… 15 for 15! All for one and one for all!
UMe + BAEF = Burbank Education Dream Team
In addition to being Burbank based, both UMe and the BAEF share an important connection: our support of local education. Backing the BAEF is important to us because we are true believers that great education helps create and inspire great future leaders of our community (and beyond)!
