Do U live in, work, worship or belong to an organization in Burbank? Welcome!
Do U go to school in Burbank? Come on down!
Do U believe UMe is your banking destiny but don’t meet the requirements above? You can still qualify for membership! Just make a $10 donation to the Burbank Arts & Education Foundation, and you’re golden. (And we can totally help you do it, we’re nice like that.)

Start your UMe membership with a UMe savings account. It only takes $5 to get started — and there are no monthly fees, ever.

Opening your UMe savings account is the first step to joining the flock! Here’s what you’ll need:
- A completed membership application (personal or business)
- A valid government-issued photo ID (like a California driver’s license)
- Proof of your current address (if it’s not on your ID)
Once your app lands in our hands, a friendly UMe team member will reach out to finish the process.
Just $5! That’s your initial deposit, and it represents your “share” of UMe because you’re not just a member, you’re an owner.
Absolutely. Once you join, the doors open wide: apply for loans, open checking or certificate accounts, use our app for mobile deposits, and more. Membership is your all-access pass to UMe life.
Nope! Living in Burbank is one way to qualify, but not the only way. Working, worshipping, volunteering, or going to school in Burbank also makes you eligible. And again, that $10 donation option is always waiting with open wings.
Opening a savings account is how you officially become a UMe member. The alternative $10 donation route simply helps people outside Burbank’s “community area” qualify for membership—after that, you will still open a savings account to make your membership official.
