Get To Know Our 2020 UMe Super Awesome Scholarship Winners

UMe’s Super Awesome Scholarship is back this year and helping even more students than ever before. As a credit union founded by Burbank teachers, supporting local students has been in our DNA since day one, and even more so in these trying times. Our Super Awesome Scholarship aims to provide financial support to students who want to do amazing things in their lives, the community, and in the world. We were so impressed with the caliber of applications this year, that in addition to the two $2,500 scholarships that we planned to award, we awarded two additional students with $500 scholarships, too!

We recently met with our scholarship winners on Zoom to surprise each of them with their awards – and to get to know them a little better. We’re very proud of these seniors (and UMe members) and we can’t wait to see what awesome things they accomplish in the future! Check out our conversations with the winners below.
